Ambrosia's Book Of Witchflight is a work of personal gnosis. Within the book, you will find tips and tricks for traveling to other worlds via witchflight. Jasmyne shares her very real experiences, allowing you to see the otherworld from her eyes. This book was created between worlds and brings an essence of liminality to the work. You will also find a multitude of resources in this book, including recipes, rituals, prayers and the ever impressive Liber Spiritus.Jasmyne is a dedicated and passionate witch, educator, High Priestess, business owner and content creator. She creates occult related content centered around witchcraft and the left hand path and leads the Solar Court Coven as the High Priestess.

About the Book: Ambrosia's Book of Witch Flight

Jasmyne Ambrosia is a witch, author, creatrix, and teacher in the occult space. She is the High Priestess of her coven, The Solar Court Coven, an American Folkloric Witchcraft neo-tradition with influences of Thelema that was established in 2017. Over the years, Jasmyne has been active on social media, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. With her many years of practice and experience, she takes time to teach others seeking a path in witchcraft.

My Thoughts

Having only read one other book about spirit flight, I was already very interested in Jasmyne's take on the subject. Rather than approach the subject solely from a historical and traditional perspective, Jasmyne brings a different perspective to witch flight. It was refreshing to read about another witch's personal experiences with the Otherworld.

Ambrosia's Book of Witch Flight combines historical information as well as personal gnosis. The first part of the book explains what witch flight is, the different terms you might see used (such as fetch), and why a witch might want to traverse the Otherworld. The second part of the book details Jasmyne's experiences and knowledge of the Otherworld as she experiences it. This includes personal stories, how the Otherworld is broken up into factions, The Witch Council, and different spirits Jasmyne has encountered.

I cannot determine when I had my first encounter with the Witch Council, because I have always heard their whispers. They can always be found in the otherworld, but sometimes they cross into the physical realm as well. Some refer to them as the High Council or the Council of the Shroud.
Thirteen witches make the council, however these are no ordinary mortal witches. They are far older than we have words to describe them. Even though they are able to cross into the physical world, none of them were ever human mortals. They are from the otherworld and they serve to protect the veil between the worlds.

The author also takes the book further and provides personal recipes, tarot spreads, and rituals to aid the reader in their witch flight. There are recipes for teas, oils, and herbal smoke blends. There are rituals for consecrating tools, traveling to the Otherworld, and protective wards. This book is ripe with personal experiences and gnosis specific to Jasmyne's witchcraft tradition.

Though Ambrosia's perspective on the Otherworld does not match my own, I still gained valuable information from reading about her experiences. Overall, I enjoyed the book!

Should you read this book?

I think anyone looking for personal experience of witch flight over historical research should read this book. Reading someone's experiences about Otherworldly travel can be helpful to the witch seeking the same experience. As you read, keep in mind that Ambrosia's tradition is not a common one - if you are looking for experiences from Wiccans or BTW witches, this is not the book for you.
